About The Artist

Welcome to One Eleven Jewelry!

My name is Kurumi, the maker behind One Eleven Jewelry. I was born and raised in Japan and moved to the United States in 2009. My background and experiences between two cultures continue to shape the way I create—balancing simplicity, intention, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship.

One Eleven Jewelry began in our garage—also known as our surf shack—as a silver-smithing practice and a small bead jewelry project. During the week, I work at a game publishing company, and on the weekends, I spend my time surfing and walk by the beach with my partner and our dog, Marley. One day, while floating in the ocean, a simple but powerful thought came to me: I wanted to create jewelry that allows people to shine even more in the sea—pieces that are safe to wear in the ocean and made to last. From that moment, One Eleven Jewelry was born.

At One Eleven Jewelry, each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted using carefully selected natural gemstones and beads, each with its own unique character and expression. Every design is made by hand with love and intention, taking time to ensure quality, durability, and meaning. I create slowly and thoughtfully, choosing materials that are meant to last and pieces that feel special, not mass-produced.

When you wear One Eleven Jewelry, I hope it reminds you of your own inner strength and beauty, and of the deep connection we share with nature.

Thank you for being here.
